Welcome to my website! I'm Fujael Ahmed, a versatile individual fueled by a passion for utilizing data to drive business success through technology. I completed my higher secondary education in humanities and earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in information science and library management at the University of Dhaka.

Throughout my academic journey, I was actively engaged in various platforms, including volunteering, sports, and professional development. I devoted significant time to the Bangladesh Youth Initiative, where I focused on enhancing child education in rural areas, providing humanitarian aid, and advocating for a clean environment. I involved myself in the Dhaka University Model OIC club to refine my diplomacy and leadership skills. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in the department football team, competed in interdepartmental competitions, and served as a class representative within my department. I recognize the immense value these experiences added to my personal growth, helping me discover my strengths and fostering a sense of responsibility towards the community.

From February 2023 to May 2024, I worked at Somikoron AI, an AI company, under the guidance of CEO Dr. Nurur Rahman. In this dynamic environment, I explored various facets of data science, focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) research in the Bangla language. I enhanced my skills in data analysis, visualization, and modeling, with a particular emphasis on text data processing to build a recommendation model. Additionally, I led a team of five data science interns for three months on a News Alert project.

With a foundation in information systems and practical experience in data science, my career goal is to excel as a system designer specializing in data quality and analytics. I aim to design information systems that integrate data-driven solutions and focus on user-centered design principles. My research interests include statistical analysis, data visualization and modeling, information retrieval, database systems and application development. These interests reflect my holistic approach to creating innovative, user-friendly solutions at the intersection of technology and analytics.

During my internship at Somikoron AI, I was responsible for collecting PDF versions of books of renowned Bengali writers, scraping text data from various sources, extracting text from PDFs using OCR libraries, and preprocessing the data for model training.
